Rib Eye Steak and Other Steaks

Serves: 4
Serving Size: 1 piece

4 Rib Eye steaks, 10 - 12 oz. Each
2 Sweet onions, cut into 1/2" slices
2 Tbs. Olive oil
1/2 tsp. Salt
1/4 tsp. Pepper
1 lime, squeezed for juice
4 Tbs. Fresh ground wasabi
2Tbs. Seasoning Rub:
     1 tsp. Garlic powder
     1/4 tsp. Oregano
     1/4 tsp. Pepper
     1/2 tsp. Salt
     4 tsp. Fresh ground wasabi
     1/2 cup Canola oil

Seasoning Rub:
Mix all ingredients together. Rub into both sides of steaks. Marinate for 2 to 3 hours.

Steaks:
Grill steaks for 7 minutes (or desired preference) on each side over ash covered coals.

Wasabi-Onion Smother:
Heat all remaining ingredients (except for the fresh wasabi) until onions are soft. Keep warm. Pour on top of steak when done. Place ground fresh wasabi on steak smothered with onion as a final step prior to serving.
